Back & Neck Pain

One of the most common health complaints is back pain. So many people experience some type of back pain in their lifetime. Chronic back pain can be caused by a number of things such as sports injuries, herniated disks, prolonged sitting, repeated lifting, pulled or torn ligament. Dealing with the repercussions of back pain can be debilitating and it may be difficult to do everyday activities.

There are two kinds of back pain, acute and chronic. Acute back pain usually happens suddenly and the symptoms last less than a few months with proper diagnosis and treatment. Chronic injuries tend to last longer than three months. Acute pain causes are mostly traumatic injury, car accident injury, sprains, strains and muscle spasms. Chronic injuries are mostly from repetitive motion injuries and herniated discs, occasionally chronic back pain can also be cause by stress.  Auto injuries can also cause upper and lower back pain when there is an impact with another vehicle or object, your body is thrashed back and forth between your seatbelt, which results in an exceptional amount of force on your spinal column. This may also cause spinal misalignments and herniated discs. Herniated discs can be caused by auto injuries or joint diseases and can also be a result of of repetitive motion or traumatic injury.
